
In the world of IT, reinvention is a necessity not a choice. In
response to this, Croft Technology plc determined that the original
structure and direction of the business needed to evolve from
its three separate trading divisions, into one entity. The goal
was to create a unified sales and services capability - sharing
a common approach to business development and services provision.
This involved redefining business
objectives, organisational structure, reporting lines and roles
& responsibilities, while maintaining staff morale and maintaining
consistent service to clients.
I was responsible for project managing this
transformation, which included planning, communicating and driving
the various elements of the project. The final phase was the
rebranding of the organisation, to reflect the new identity
and approach to market. This included planning and implementing
new ways of working, which was supported by new customer engagement
methodologies and document styles. The re-launch was supported
by a market awareness campaign to broadcast the changes to existing
and new clients.
